Carol "Sugar" Nadean (Tims) Kemp

Carol “Sugar” Nadean (Tims) Kemp, Oklahoma City resident, passed away Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at SSM Health St. Anthony’s Midtown in Oklahoma City at the age of 85.

Carol was born on March 9, 1937, at the Lawton Indian Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma to Rufus and Ora Mae (Wright) Tims. She attended Carter Seminary, graduated from Chilocco Indian High School, and finished her schooling at Haskell Post Graduate School. She enjoyed cooking, watching OU football,and old western shows, listening to 50’s music especially Elvis Presley, quilting, and singing gospel music. Carol was a loving homemaker and will be missed dearly.

Survivors include her two sons Rondel & Darren Kemp, sisters Wanna Moore & Lila Kemp, and a host of other family members & friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Kemp, daughter Renae Kemp, and her parents.
