Zachary Scott Martinez

Zachary “Zach” Scott Martinez was born September 28, 1991 in Altus, Oklahoma to Florincio Martinez and Bonnie Sue (Robinson). He passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Norman at the age of 25.

Zach was very athletic during school and was active in football and wrestling. He enjoyed working out at the gym. He loved music and played the drums and guitar. Zach loved going to the lake, tubing and doing tricks on the Sea Doo. He was always down to crack jokes and give people a hard time but in a fun, loving manner. He liked classic cars and loud trucks. He was always down to play Need for Speed and drink beer and party. He thought stereotypes were hilarious. Zach would pick his nose and flick boogers at people he didn’t like. He would record his farts on his phone. Zach loved Mexican food and would eat so much that he would almost pass out. He enjoyed family gatherings such as holidays where he got to visit and play with his nieces and nephews. Zach had a passion for cooking and loved to cook at work and at home. He loved to eat and there were never any leftovers with him around.

Zach is survived by his mother, Bonnie Sue (Robinson) Hunkapiller and step-father Butch; father, Florincio Martinez and step-mother, Tina Crider-Martinez; son, Xavier Lee Scott Martinez; siblings, Russell James Sifert, David Martinez, Michael Martinez, Melissa Sue Dalton Wilson, Felicia Perez and husband Gilbert and Dylan, Josh, Justin and Danny; his fiancé, Gabby Stewart; nieces and nephews, Kaedyn Sue Ines Dalton, Izayan Christopher Spencer Wilson, Donavin James Robert Wilson, Kason Nicholas Sifert, Jacob South, Destinee Perez, Jayden Perez and Christian Perez; aunts and uncles, Beth Faber, Gail Shelton, Shelia Morgan, Jack Keehan, Virginia Holbrook, Teresa Rodriguez, Aunt Kiki and other family and friends.
