Willie Madine Wallace

Willie Madine (Jackson) Wallace was born on March 23, 1938 to Katherine Williamson & Leon Jackson in Gene Autry, Oklahoma. Willia was the third oldest in a family of nine siblings.

Willie went to school in Ardmore, Oklahoma and graduated from Douglass High of Ardmore.

Willie was a lifelong cook, as well as working many other odd jobs. Willie lived with her partner Claudie Wallace until the married in 1999. Both Claudie & Willie Mae were baptized and accepted Christ as their Savior at First Deliverance Baptist Church. Claudie lost his battle with cancer in 2002. Willie was the mother of 11 children, to which five preceded her in death. The last remaining daughter of the five sisters and three brothers, who also preceded her in death.

Willie enjoyed cooking, bingo, and going to the casino as her hobbies, as well as spending time dancing and playing with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. While Willie will be a women that is remembered as a straight to your face, no nonsense woman, she never met a stranger.

While Willie survived a harsh childhood marred by desertion of a maternal mother, and surviving living on the streets, she managed to also live a life blessed with family and friends who loved her until the end. She lived a blessed life and a long life. She is now reunited with her Savior Jesus and husband Claudie Wallace. Sisters in death are Dorthy Hughes, Catherine Williamson, Katherine Rambo, and Fathie Mae Berryman. Brother in death are Willie "Jr." Jones and Ira "Lewis" Williamson.

A book could be written on this marvel of a woman, who was raised on a small farm in Gene Autry, Oklahoma. Her rough exterior was the synopsis of the life which she chose to live her way. Willie made an impression on all who where blessed to cross her path. The spirit of a fiery Phoenix, you knew when Willie was vexed with you. But, Willie also had a tender side.

Willie was a family-oriented woman who loved cooking for her family. Willie would have family get togethers that included domino playing, cards, dancing, and plenty of drinking & eating. Family gatherings were what made her happy and what she lived for, because her childhood lacked familial love. Willie always felt out of place with her own family, which left an emptiness and sadness until her last breath. Driven to find that lost love and to ease the feeling of loneliness, Willie met no strangers. When meeting you, Willie gave out hugs, kisses, and home-cooked meals. Also, a place to lay your head if you needed. Her fiery spirit was her exterior, but gentle loving woman is what drew so many to love Willie. Her life will be remembered with laughter and tears, but remember one important thing, she loved all whom she met and she lived her 86 years her way, until she took her last breath. Willie Madine Wallace gained her new spiritual body on July 29, 2024 at 4:15 P.M. at her home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 86.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her remaining children Edward Calvin (Shirley) Pierce, Larnell Jackson, Radonna Faye Jackson, Claudette (Terry) White, Robert Wallace, and Demetra Wallace; two brothers Arthur & Terry Lee Williamson; multiple grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends who were special to her heart.
