William "Shane" Mitchell

 William "Shane" Mitchell, Chickasha area resident, passed away January 31, 2025 at his residence at the age of 55.

Shane was born February 27, 1969 at Harmon Memorial Hospital in Hollis, Oklahoma to Warren and Linda (Blankenburg) Mitchell. Shane lived in several different places in his life before settling in Chickasha. He drove many years as a truck driver and enjoyed it greatly, as he loved the feeling of being free. Shane worked at Midwest Cooling Towers in Chickasha, Oklahoma where he received an award for his outstanding service and commitment. Shane was an animal lover and cherished his three dogs, He loved to cook and spend time outdoors, He was an avid movie watcher and loved to watch comedy movies. 

Surviving Shane are his mother, Linda Hill; three daughters, Loni Nicole Treaster, Lynsi Shayne Terrell, and Emily Mitchell; brother, Hoby Mitchell; grandchildren, Jensen Terrell, Kayden Treaster and Winslet Terrell; former wife, Toni Stark and a host of other family and friends.

Shane was preceded in death by his father, Warren Kenneth Mitchell.
