It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Tyler Relkin on March 16, 2023 in Oklahoma City at the age of 30. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones at the time of his passing. Although Tyler left us at a young age, his time on this earth he managed to touch hearts of so many.
Tyler was born February 1, 1993 in Arcadia, California to Scott Relkin and Deanna Lynn (Shaper). Tyler and his family later moved to Oklahoma. He graduated from Bridge Creek High School.
Tyler leaves behind his daughter, Kylie; son, Kade; their mother, Brittney; brother, Jordan; father, Scott; girlfriend, Melissa and her children and a host of other family and friends. He was a wonderful father and made sure his love and time was shown individually to each one. He was known to his friends and family as a character who was calm and loving.
Being a devoted father, he continued to work tirelessly to provide for his family. Tyler learned the value of contributing his time and effort to the workplace, the hard way, from the age of a young boy. Even though, he always found a way to make those around him smile with his unique and irreverent sense of humor. But despite his mischievousness, his kind-hearted nature shone through in the genuine love he had for his family and friends, brightening any room he occupied. He never hesitated to help others, with working hard, loving entirely, and being truly dedicated, He inhabited the most cherished qualities. The positive impact he had in his circle was made apparent to everyone including his grieving family and saddened friends and is appreciated so much. Seeing the love and support has been beyond imagination. The time and thoughts for his family is greatly appreciated and has not gone unnoticed.
A celebration of Tyler's life will be announced at a later date. This gathering will be held at a place where those friends and family can come together to share stories, laugh and shed tears in his honor.
Rest in peace, Tyler, and may your memory continue to live on in us, giving us peace and comfort. Promising to hold it tight, your memory will never be forgotten. It will be found shining through the bright smiles and laughter in those who had the honor of knowing and loving you.
We will never forget you.
