Tom passed at home with his loving wife, Jovonna, after extended hospital stays attempting to overcome multiple strokes and renal failure. Tom loved life, family and friends. He touched many with his sense of humor and will be long remembered for his robust laughter and contagious smiles.
Tom was born in Oklahoma City, OK, and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. He worked as a mechanic for Thermal King, Lopez Foods and retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an equipment mechanic.
Tom grew up with a motorcycle enthusiast family and made numerous trips and poker runs. Tom collected antiquities to decorate his 1929 Model A Ford and participated in car shows and parades state wide.
Tom is survived by his devoted wife, Jovonna; son Brian and grandson David. He is also survived by his brother, Stan and wife Sherry; nephew, Michael and wife Rachael; nephew-in-law, Michael Park and wife Kimberly of Guthrie; brother-in-law, Jerry Maynard and wife Dana; sister-in-law, Jackie Wilkinson and nieces, Emily and Delphin; nephews, Jeffrey Gravers, AJ Johns and wife Linda, Wade Johns and wife Carlie; great nephews and one great niece and a host of other family and friends. Tom will be missed by all who knew him. Please consider sharing your favorite memory either on-line or during his service.
