Thomas Lavern Jackson

Thomas Lavern “Tommy” Jackson, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Monday, December 18, 2023, at his residence in Oklahoma City at the age of 67.

Thomas was born November 21, 1956, in Okarche, Oklahoma to William H. and Birdell Fay (Johnson) Jackson. He attended El Reno Public Schools and graduated high school in 1975. After completing high school, Tommy was employed at Walmart, Canadian County Vo-Tech and the Skirvin Hotel.

Thomas was a member of the Inspiring Word Ministries where he sang with the praise team. When he was not attending church activities, Tommy liked watching sports and spending time with friends.

Thomas leaves to cherish his memories his children, Demisha, LaKeisha and Jacintha as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
