Suzie Lou Christian 58, of Macomb, OK passed away Saturday, Nov 4, 2017 at home with her loved ones.
She was born Jan 8, 1959 to Bill Halley and Julia Minor(Posey) in El Dorado, KS
Suzie worked as a House Mother at both The University of Oklahoma and The University of Kansas.
She was an active member of The Society of Creative Anachronism.
Suzie loved sewing and crafts, finding bargains at thrift stores, Elvis, and spending time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Julia Minor and her brothers, Barry Halley and Mike Minor.
Suzie leaves behind a rather large family base. A Father, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, many brothers and sisters, life-long friends, her daughter, Angie Atwara and spouse Tobi from El Dorado, KS; her son Curtis Halley of OK; her daughter, Amber Nail of OK; her daughter, Ashley Morton and spouse Cameron of OK; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Her Memorial will be from 12:00-2:00PM on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at the family’s residence located at 31640 HWY 177 Macomb, OK. This will be a potluck lunch. Then immediately following will be her SCA memorial event.
