Susannah Fay Donaldson came into our lives as the fourth child of Connie and Wayne Donaldson. She was born in sunny Manhattan Beach, California. Susannah was a beautiful baby and was always the highlight of the family and loved by her sister Regina, brothers Mark and Paul. She made her first Holy Communion at St. Hedwig’s Xavier Church in Seal Beach, California, where her family resided and she attended elementary school. Susannah graduated from Enid High School in Enid, Oklahoma in 1982 where she was on the basketball team. She attended nursing school in Tonkawa, OK in hopes of following in her mother’s footsteps and becoming a nurse.
Susannah moved to Oklahoma City and went to work for Southwestern Bell. She met her lifelong friend Loretta Cudequist there and they resided in Moore, Oklahoma. She was loved by many of her family and relatives and was very bright and outgoing. She completed ITT Tech for medical coding and reported a 4.0 G.P.A.
She was preceded in death by her mother Connie Donaldson when Susannah was 16 years old. She is survived by her father, Wayne Donaldson, of Oklahoma City; her brothers, Mark Avery of OKC, Paul Donaldson of Santan Valley, AZ; and her sister, Regina Lythgoe of Welches, Oregon; her close friend and sister-in-law, Ina R. Avery and sister-in-law, Barbara A. Donaldson; brother-in-law, David Lythgoe r nephews, Jordan Englert of Damascus, OR., Daniel Englert Welches, Oregon, Mark Avery Jr. of OKC, Micah Holder of OKC; and niece, Sara Jane Donaldson of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Susannah had a deep love for animals and for caring for people. We will miss her happy smile that would light up the room. She was a great friend and sister.
