Sue Ellen Dennington

Sue Ellen Dennington was born April 4, 1936 to Travis and Ellen Dennington in Cassville, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord on September 29, 2020.

Sue graduated from Bowlegs High School in 1954. Soon after she married Bob Stockton. They had two daughters: Jan and Kathy.

Sue enjoyed quilting, collecting and restoring antiques, vacationing with her grandchildren, and OU Football. She was a fantastic cook and made huge holiday meals for her family. Sadly for her husband, she sent all of the leftovers home with her daughters and their children.

Sue leaves behind her two daughters, son-in-law Tom, grandchildren Scott, Joy, Travis, Brian, Jarod and their spouses.  She also leaves eight great grandchildren, most of them never having the pleasure of getting to know her because she suffered from Alzheimer’s.

Sue was beautiful inside and out, had an infectious laugh, and is now celebrating that she once again has her memories of us that we have of her. She will be loved always and never forgotten.
