Shawn Gregory McCarroll

Shawn Gregory McCarroll, longtime Shawnee area resident, passed away May 23, 2024 at his home in Shawnee at the age of 51.

Shawn was born December 2, 1972 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Donnie Ray and Elizabeth Angela (Lenz) McCarroll.   He worked in the oil field and construction for many years concluding his career with Mike Little Construction. Shawn enjoyed working and always took any job at hand seriously. He loved going to OU football games and watching any sport. Shawn also loved doing various outdoor activities and was a big family man. 

Shawn was preceded in death by his father, Donnie McCarroll and grandparents, Jake and Opal McCarroll.

Surviving Shawn are his mother Elizabeth McCarroll, son, Lorcen McCarroll, daughter, Abigail McCarroll, daughter, Xalina McCarroll, granddaughter, Everlynn Johnson, two grandpups, Niko and Bella, brother, Rocky McCarroll, niece, Cheyenne Furr, nephew, Jesse McCarroll, niece, Athena McCarroll and a host of great nieces and nephews and other family and friends.

Memorial Services for Shawn will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee.
