Sharon Ruth (Rowston) Hall

Sharon Ruth Hall joined her husband Larry in Heaven on Friday, February 17, 2023.

She was born March 28, 1947 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Chuck and Betty Rowston. An only child, Sharon attended Horace Mann and Jefferson elementary schools and was a 1 965 graduate of Shawnee High School. While in high school, Sharon was active in Try-Hi-Y, Pep Club, FTA, Choral Ensemble, Girls State, and was a Marjorette Sharon had a beautiful voice, loved singing and playing the piano, and had many friends who were blessed to have her sing at their weddings. Sharon married Larry Hall and they enjoyed 40+ years of happiness together. They loved old cars, traveling, and junk stores. In 1980 they were blessed to adopt Amanda. Sharon was always supportive of her daughter's art and dancing. Sharon had a 30+ year career with the Oklahoma Employment Security Commission and was instrumental in finding employment for a multitude of people. She was a member and past President of the Shawnee Altrusa club. After retirement she spent some time as a Shawnee school bus monitor.

Sharon was preceded in death by her loving husband Larry and stepson Steven.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Amanda and Garrett Shelton and beloved pets Skoshi and Buster, and extended family and friends
A memorial service will be held at the First Christian Church at 1625 N Broadway Ave, March 3rd at 10AM
