Sharon Sue Autry, 76, of Moore, Oklahoma, went home to be with the Lord on December 18, 2022. Sharon was born on April 25, 1946, in Norman, Oklahoma to Charley and Hazel Phillips. She graduated from Norman High School and went on to college where she studied early childhood development. On September 25, 1965, she married the love of her life, Edward Allen Autry, and together they raised three boys, Tim, Jeff and Chris.
Sharon was a hard-working woman and dedicated 30 years of her life to Walmart before her retirement. During those 30 years she made many wonderful friends and had several accomplishments, including getting Walmart to open the Sooner Store where it sold Sooner items and attire.
Sharon will be remembered as a woman of great faith. She was loving, caring and strong-willed, and also had her moments of being goofy and funny. She loved her friends and her pets, but above all else she cherished her family and the Lord. She was most proud of her and Ed’s 57 years of marriage and the family that they had together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, Charley and Hazel Phillips; three sisters, Dody Farha, Connie Beirau, and Maggie Cothern; and brother, Charles Warren Phillips.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Autry; sons, Tim Autry and wife Teresa, Jeff Autry and girlfriend Morgan Jones, and Chris Autry and wife Tommie; grandchildren, Brittany Varner and husband Kyle, Dustin Autry, Brianna Autry, Calvin Autry, and Alicia Lemus and great- granddaughters, Abby and Faith Autry.
We will have Food After the service and would like everyone to stay and Eat and Visit with The Family.
