Ruth Ellen (Travels) Mackey

Ruth Ellen (Travels) Mackey passed away December 11, 2022 in Midwest City at the age of 72.

Ruth was born November 25, 1950 in Modesto, California to Everett Joseph Travels and Bonnie Pearl (Walton). She attended school at Sasakwa Public School in Sasakwa, OK. Ruth always enjoyed ceramics, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and she loved making dolls, blankets and such.

Ruth was preceded in death by both of her parents.

Survivors include her daughter, Ambra Wilkerson and husband Derrick of Moore, OK and son, Charles Andrews of Oklahoma City from her second husband, Mickey; son, Dennis Mackey of Choctaw, OK and daughter, Penny Laws and husband Allen of Midwest City, OK from her first husband Darrell; grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, Kailynn, Annabelle, Spencer, Torie, Kaylee, Ariah and Havyn; brothers, Butch Travels, Rocky Travels, Tracy Fidler, Tony Fidler and Terry Fidler; sisters, Pat Martell and Twyla Cobbs and a host of other family and friends.

Ruth will be laid to rest at the Walton Cemetery in Sasakwa, OK.

Services are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
