Ronda Lou (Ramsey) Hill
June 9, 1946 — January 9, 2017
Ronda Lou (Ramsey) Hill, longtime Seminole resident, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Alliance Seminole Health at the age of 70.
She was born June 9, 1946 in Ft. Scott, Kansas to Clarence Eugene “Red” and Thorea Jane (Comstock) Ramsey.
Ronda graduated from Putnam City High School in 1964. She attended Hill Business College and later Seminole Junior College.
Ronda married David L. Hill in December 16, 1967 in Warr Acres and they later moved to Seminole in 1974.
Ronda was a bookkeeper for several years. She worked at several places in the Seminole area throughout the years including the City of Seminole where she was a building inspector. Ronda also worked for Jimmie Austin Drilling, Seminole Nation Headstart, Oklahoma Families First and Attorney Ed Cadenhead. Ronda, later along with her two friends, owned and operated Consigning Women in downtown Seminole.
Ronda loved doing crafts and attending craft shows. She also enjoyed sewing, going on family vacations, staying with her friends Judy and Jana and always looked forward to going to different places with her grandsons and staying in hotels.
Ronda is survived by her husband of over 49 years, David of the home; one son, Darby Hill of Seminole; one daughter, Stacy Renfro of Seminole; two grandsons, Kaden and Kolby Renfro; two sisters, Susan Zimmerman and Debbie Licastro both of Yukon and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 2:00 PM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home, 2415 N. Walnut Ave, Oklahoma City with Pastor Sam Turnbow officiating.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
