On September 17, 1953, Ronald Wayne Lee was born to parents Betty Jean (Fields) and Nathaniel James Lee in Hobbs, NM. The family later moved to Portland, OR in 1956, when Wayne, as the family calls him, was only 3 years of age. Wayne spent his childhood in Portland and went on to graduate from Grant High School in 1972.
In 1977, Wayne decided to join the Air Force, where he served as a medic. Though not being in the service long, he received an honorable discharge, ending his term.
He eventually became certified and employed as a CNA at Lea Regional Medical Center in New Mexico. He later decided to venture to Phoenix, AZ where he became certified as an EMT from Phoenix College, wanting to increase his skills and capacity. With his versatile work experience, the healthcare field held his passion. One of his achievements was during a time he worked for Fiesta Canning Company, where there was equipment that could cause high-risk injuries. He took the initiative, becoming the first to plan and develop the company's First Aid Station.
In the year 2000, Wayne moved to Bristow, Oklahoma to the home his parents previously lived. While in Oklahoma, Wayne held many jobs and continued his education in Tulsa. He also worked as a Well Driller. Wayne was more so a Jack-of-All-Trades and a handy man. While having odd jobs, he became primary caretaker of his three younger children, who moved to Bristow in 2001 until they graduated. In his later life, Wayne resided in Oklahoma City with his wife, where he remained until the time of his death.
