Ronald C. Hardin, longtime Maud, OK resident, passed away from this life peacefully on January 7th, 2023 in Kingfisher, OK. He was born in Okmulgee, OK on August 12th, 1930 to Henry Thomas Hardin and Mary Deer Hardin.

Ronald served in the U.S. Air Force and later in the Army Reserves for 31 years. He was an IT specialist at Tinker Air Force Base until his retirement. He was a Freewill Baptist Pastor for many years holding positions at Paden, Mason, Earlsboro and was active in the Indian Church at Chickasha and the Calumet Baptist church.

Ronald’s first love was his walk with the Lord and then he loved fishing and spending time with his family. His biggest passion was baseball. He could always be found on the field or in the cages working with any athlete that wanted to learn. His great grandsons were his pride and joy and he loved watching them play the game.

Ronald is proceeded in death by his parents, six brother’s, Gerald, Winslow, Bob, Dale, Van and Carol; two sisters, Wanda Bouldin and Joyce Hardin; his daughter, Ruby Hardin and grandson, Adam Hardin.

He is survived by his son, David Hardin (Rhonda) of Piedmont, OK; granddaughters, Brandi Fuxa (Matt) of Okarche, OK and Tina Shippers ( Matt) of Okarche, OK; grandson, Bud Hardin (Rachael) of El Reno, OK;  great grandson’s, Landon, Ben and Jett; great granddaughter, Jerney Hardin of Tuttle, OK; one brother, Marshall Hardin of Okmulgee, OK; one sister, Doris Sullivan of Okemah, OK; special nephew, Gary Hardin of Okmulgee, OK and a host of other family and friends.

Services will be Saturday, January 21st at 2:00pm at Living Word Center in Okemah.

Arrangements are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
