Richard "Rick" D. Cloud

Richard “Rick” Cloud passed away on April 23rd, 2023 in his home with his wife in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 61.

Rick was born on April 13th, 1962, in Rapid City, South Dakota to Richard “Dick” and Delores Cloud. He completed high school at Classen High School in Oklahoma City. Rick was proud of his Native American lineage and boasted about his ancestors and where they had come from. He was a direct descendant of Chief Red Cloud of the Oglala Sioux Tribe from his father’s side. Rick had a relationship with the Lord and used his guidance to live his life. He enjoyed spending time with his boys, especially teaching them how to hunt and fish. While living in Stillwater, Oklahoma, he met the love of his life Carol in 2018 and they later married on July 8th, 2022. Prior to moving back to Oklahoma City, he worked as a Heavy Machinery operator in the Oil Fields. Upon moving he started work at the Costco Corporate office.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dick & Delores Cloud, and both sets of Grandparents.

Rick is survived by his wife Carol Cloud, sons; Richard, Justin (Natalie), Michael (Jennifer) & Dakota Cloud, stepsons Allen (Caitlin) Coale & Justin Coale, stepdaughter Kirstin (Courey) Coale, thirteen grandchildren, sisters Linda & Sandy Cloud, brother Timothy & Corey Cloud, many nephews, cousins, and friends.

He will be forever missed by all that knew him.
