Richard Dean Goforth, a beloved member of the Seminole community, passed away on November 15, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1960, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Eugene Goforth and Lillie Goforth/Uldrich.
Richard dedicated himself to serving the City of Seminole. He worked diligently and with great pride for his community. Additionally, he spent time at WCA Landfill, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Richard was a family-oriented man who cherished spending time with his loved ones. He had a special bond with his grandchildren and delighted in riding four-wheelers with them. His warm heart and playful spirit brought immeasurable joy to their lives. He also loved hobbies such as fishing and camping outdoors.
Survived by his children who will cherish his memories are, Barbara and Tommy Berry of Seminole, OK, Nick and Kyla Goforth of Wewoka, OK; Brian Goforth of California; Wes and Kennedy Goforth of Oklahoma City, OK.
Richard's grandchildren who brought immense happiness into his life include: Johnathan, Ashlynn, Hunter, Brianna, and Aurora Berry, Alexander, Jaylen, Alianna, Daryl, Christina, Cherish Goforth. Dylan, Mason, Alyson, Perry, & Tuff Goforth and Faith Camp.
Richard will be fondly remembered as a dedicated community member, a cherished family man, and a dear friend. His kindness, warm personality, and love for life left an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
