Renee Michelle Holland

A Celebration of Life for Renee Michelle (Light) Holland will be held Sunday, January 29th at 2 PM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home in Oklahoma City. Renee passed away at the home she shared with her husband in Yukon, Oklahoma on Monday, January 23rd.
Renee was born on October 23, 1969 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, Texas to Luz "Lucy" Preciado and James Light, Sr. She was raised throughout the heartland by her parents Lucy and Ray Willingham, Sr. The family settled in the Wichita Falls area where Renee attended Ryder High School.
In 1990, Renee and her family moved to Oklahoma City where she met her husband, Robert Jay Holland. Renee and Jay were married on February 23, 1995. They made their home in the Oklahoma City area and raised their 4 children.
Renee was a fun filled spirit that had a smile which would brighten the day of anyone that met her. She was full of jokes and sarcasm, but she never missed a moment to let those around her know that she cared for them. She was the rock of her family that she valued above all else.
Renee enjoyed watching Thunder basketball with her husband, Texas University and Dallas Cowboys football. She loved to work in the yard, playing with her dogs and was an avid reader.
Renee is preceded in death by her parents and her mother and father in law, Patricia and James Holland. She is survived by her loving husband, Jay; her children, Lori Harjo  (Anthony), Corey Holland, Alexis Holland and her "Little One" Desiray Renee Holland; her grandchildren, Jaydyn Harjo, Conor Holland, Braeden, Justin, and Logan Challis; her brothers, James Light, Jr, and Ray Willingham, Jr. Renee is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends that have been impacted by her loving nature.
