Peter Melvin Yaeger, 76 years old, born in San Gabriel, CA. Pete passed away on January 30, 2025, at his home in Wewoka, OK.
Pete left behind wife of the home, Carol Yaeger, 1 sister Kathy Hauser and husband Gary Hauser of California, 4 daughters Heather Yaeger of California, Debbie Cheatwood and husband Paul Cheatwood of Mason, OK, Becky Wise of Oakhurst, OK, and Laura Yaeger of Tulsa, OK. 1 son Ricky Wise of Wagner, OK. 1 niece Allison Turner-Scott and husband Tyrone Scott of California, 2 nephews Eric Hauser and wife Season Hauser of California, and Charles Hauser and wife Dina Hauser of California. As well as 6 granddaughters, and 13 great grandchildren.
Pete is preceded in death by his parents Peter M. Yaeger and wife Helen Yaeger of California, Cora C Nash of California, and 1 infant brother Richard Yaeger of California.
Peter retired from enviro after 10 years. Pete also worked for Wrangler for 26 years. Pete was an active member of the Wewoka congregation of Jehovah’s Witness. Pete married the love of his life Carol on January 29, 1983, in Okemah OK. Pete loved food, surfing, history, music, computers, Godzilla, and picking on loved ones.
Pete’s favorite scripture is Revelations 21:4 which says “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Pete’s memorial service will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness 2104 Seran Dr, Wewoka, OK 74884 on February 8, 2025, at 2pm.
