Oliver Lynn Harbert, also known as Jerry, was born on January 17, 1941, to Leslie and Willie Lee Harbert in Mountain View, Oklahoma.
He was diagnosed with Polio at a very young age which he overcame. He was the fifth child born of twelve. He attended Oklahoma City, Middle and High Schools, Central & Douglas High School. Later in life, he married Ella Mae Lloyd on December 28, 1972, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During his life, he had a passion for the word of God, he loved singing Gospel Music with his brothers & sisters and also loved playing his guitar. He sung with a Gospel group called The ServentAires which he really enjoyed with family, he also loved reading his Bible. He had a great love for his family and touched each and every one of our lives. He was knowledgeable about our family tree. Family gatherings were filled with singing and playing guitar, it was a happy time in our family.
His Father and Mother Leslie and Willie Lee Harbert preceded him in death, his wife Ella Mae (Llyod) Harbert, three brothers Charles, George, and Billy Calvin Harbert, six sisters Pearlie Mae Cox, Lessie Lee Hunter, Martha Sue Harbert, Janie Marie Harbert, Betty Ann Smith, and Barbra Ann Harbert also are there to greet him in Heaven.
Jerry leaves behind to mourn two brothers Clifford Eugene & Billy Joe Harbert along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
