Mark “Dillon” Thomas, longtime Seminole County resident, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2020 in Wolf at the age of 28.
Dillon was born September 18, 1991 in Purcell, Oklahoma to Mark C. Thomas and Monica (Brazell). He attended Konawa Public Schools and graduated from Bowlegs High School in 2010. Dillon married Shelby Lynn Goodnight on July 23, 2011 in Ada, Oklahoma.
Dillon was an assistant manager for Tanmar Rentals in Ada. He enjoyed spending time with his family, playing on his RZR, fishing with his brothers and father-in-law, and eating Mexican food. Dillon loved the holidays especially the 4th of July where money was no object for fireworks!
Survivors include his wife, Shelby of the home; two daughters, Braelie and Peyton Thomas; father, Mark Thomas; mother, Monica Cottrell and husband Scott; sister, Amanda Thomas; brothers, Mateo Olvera and wife Bailey, Juan Olvera and Tristan Thomas; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dwayne and Celeste Goodnight; brothers-in-law, Eric Goodnight and wife Christina, Tucker and Weston Goodnight; grandparents, Trisha and Dewey Cravens and Monty Brazell; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Dillon was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alta Lunsford, Clifford Lunsford, Geraldine Mae Thomas, James Edward Thomas, Opal Brazell; great-grandparents, Jennie and Joseph Harris, Marie Brazell, Billy Joe Brazell and Baby O.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Konawa Lake Swimming Area as we give Dillon ‘One Last Cast’.
