Mark Edward Swan
March 1, 1954 — September 19, 2015
Mark Edward Swan, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 61.
He was born March 1, 1954 in Independence, Kansas. Mark graduated from Edmond Memorial High School. He worked as a Night Watchman for High Plains Drilling Company before becoming disabled.
Mark loved playing cards and dominos with his mother every day. He also looked forward to attending his daily club meetings. Mark was an avid Civil War buff and always enjoyed talking about the war.
Mark is survived by his mother, Nona of the home; two sons, Thomas Swan and Jeb Stuart Swan and his wife Jennifer; step-brother, Jerry Novakowski; three grandchildren, Noah, Nona and Brooklyn; special caregiver, Donna Gutierrez and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl W. Swan on May 22, 2015.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, Sep. 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM at OK Cremation and Funeral Home Chapel, 2415 N. Walnut, Okla. City.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
