Marian Jean (Lalicker) Noah, longtime Norman, Oklahoma area resident, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024 in Norman at the age of 79.
Marian was born August 18, 1945 in Long Beach, California to Frank and Ica (LaCrone) Lalicker. She resided in Lometa, California with her family until the age of 14. After which they moved to Oklahoma. Marian attended Norman High School in Norman where she met and later married, Philip Ray Noah. She attended beauty college and obtained her cosmetology license. Marian often entered hairstyling shows and won top awards for her designs and techniques. She continued her success by opening her own hair salon, The Mane Man 5 in Norman. Her excellent styling techniques led to a side career in makeup artistry with various pageantry associations.
At an early age, Marian was involved with the Norman Follies where she performed song and dance. Marian loved crafting and making ceramics. She loved spending time with her family, especially on camping trips and at the farm. Marian was a very loving mother that supported her children in all their activities. She was widely known for her kindness, generosity and compassion. She would literally give you the shirt off her back. Marian was full of laughter and could carry on a conversation with a total stranger.
Marian is survived by two sons, Philip Ray Noah II and his wife Robin and Dustin Frank Noah; daughter, Angela Christine Rhea and her husband Dustin; two sisters, Priscilla Johnson and her husband David and LaDonna Moorad; three grandchildren, Austin Rhea, Courtney Rhea and Jace Bell; three great-grandchildren, Christian Noah, Sage Warden and Zoey Rhea; several nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly and a host of other family and friends.
Marian was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ica Lalicker and husband, Philip Ray Noah.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at 1:00 pm at OK Cremation & Funeral Home Chapel, 2415 N. Walnut Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
