Maria Gloria Marroquin

With deep sadness, we announce the death of Maria Gloria Marroquin, 79 yrs old, of Lawton, Oklahoma, who left us on February 13, 2025. 

Maria was born in Mexico City on February 21,1945. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Maria was a devoted mother, whose love and nurturing presence defined her life. She always put her family first, offering unwavering love, a constant source of support, strength and courage. Whether it was through a home cooked meal, a listening ear or through kindness helping others, she had a unique way of making people feel special. Her love for her grandchildren knew no bound. She found joy in the simple things—even if it was a shared meal, conversation with her husband, or time spent with family. The memories of her laughter and lighthearted spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew her. 

Maria Gloria Marroquin will be deeply missed but never forgotten. She leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and care that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. 

Maria is survived by her children Ruth, Elizabeth, Fernando, Leticia and Alvaro Marroquin. Also many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Alvaro Ridge, son, Isaias Maya, daughter, Claudine Marroquin, son, Guillermo Marroquin, son, Manuel Marroquin,(mother)Angelica and (father) Felipe. "-Tu Eres La Tristeza De Mis Ojos” - Rocio Durcal
