Lorenza Hernandez Luevano

Lorenza Hernandez Luevano, Oklahoma City resident, passed away December 7, 2015 at her residence at the age of 83.

She was born April 30, 1932 in Chihuahua, Mexico to Librado Luevano and Luz Marmolejo.

Lorenza was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and sister.

Survivors include her children, Hermelinda Guerrero, Manuel Hernandez, Jr and wife Pilar, Bertha Salazar and husband Antonio, Jose Juan Hernandez and wife Josefina, Jaime Hernandez, Marcelino Hernandez and wife Maria, Armando Hernandez, Torivio Hernandez and wife Maria, Sylvia Hernandez and husband Alfonso, Irma Hernandez and husband Armando, Guadalupe Hernandez and husband Agustin and Maricela Hernandez; 49 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Jose Luevano and wife Julia, Margarito Luevano and wife Eliza, Dolores Luevano, Severiana Guerrero and husband Efren and Juanita Luevano.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Manuel Hernandez and one son, Apolonio Hernandez.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015 at 7:00 PM at St. James Catholic Church, 4201 S. McKinley Ave, Oklahoma City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 10:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church with Father John Mejia officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Manuel Hernandez, Marcelino Hernandez, Jose J. Hernandez, Torivio Hernandez, Jaime Hernandez and Armando Hernandez.

Burial will follow at Sunny Lane Cemetery with services under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
