Linda Kay (Broyles) Wilson

Linda Kay Broyles Wilson, 82, of Edmond, OK passed peacefully on November 25, 2022.

She was born on March 20, 1940, in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to Jennie Vee and David Broyles. She was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, and a member of Zeta Tau Alpha. Linda received her Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. This is where she met the love of her life, James Erwin Wilson and the two were married on August 5, 1961. They were married 35 years until the passing of Jim in 1997. Linda and Jim lived most of their lives in Carmel Indiana, where they raised their two daughters. They were members of North Central Church of Christ. Linda loved playing and watching golf. She enjoyed travel and most trips were planned around the courses she played with Jim and friends. Linda’s other favorite pastimes were cooking, entertaining family and friends and playing bridge. Linda was an interior designer until she retired in 2001 to spend time with her grandchildren. Linda was very proud of her family.

She and Jim had two daughters, Whitney (Josh) Raver, Courtney (Tim) Wimmer. Linda was blessed with five grandchildren, Wyatt and Berk Reasor; Maggie, Ella, and Jack Wimmer. Linda’s beloved dog Zoey was always by her side, even as she passed.

There will be a family service and Linda will be laid to rest next to her late husband at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers, Indiana.
