LeRoy "Roy" Foreman

LeRoy "Roy" Foreman, Oklahoma City resident, passed away December 24, 2017 at Integris Hospice House after a re-occurrence of cancer at the age of 79.

Roy was born July 8, 1938  in Pueblo, Colorado to Peter R. and Mary (Shellenberger) Foreman. Roy attended and graduated from Central High School in Pueblo, Colorado. He continued his education at Colorado State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering in 1960.

On October 22, 1960 Roy married the love his life, Linda (Owens) in Pueblo, Colorado and she survives him of the home.  Roy and Linda had many adventures during the 57 years they were married. To this union two sons,  Mark and David were born. The eldest Mark was born in Yokosuka, Japan in 1963 while Roy was in the Navy.  Roy sailed on ships all over Asia as staff of Commander Seventh Fleet. Their younger son David was born in Denver, Colorado in 1965. After serving in the Navy, Roy joined the FBI as a special agent. He served almost 30 years in the state of Washington and cities all over Oklahoma.  Since the 1960's Roy was a teacher, whether it was family, law enforcement, or Sunday School. Roy was a devout Christian and served the Lord well.

In addition to his wife and two sons, Roy is also survived by three grandsons, one granddaughter, and two precious great-granddaughters.

His parents Peter Russell Foreman, Mary Elma (Shellenberger) Foreman and one brother, Jon Robert Foreman predeceased him.

A memorial service will be held at Quail Springs Baptist Church on December 29th, 2017 at 3 p.m.

He will sorely be missed. Heaven is now a little sweeter.
