Kathleen Ann “Kathy” Turner, Seminole resident, passed away Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Alliance Health Midwest in Midwest City at the age of 66.
Kathy was born December 15, 1953 in Fresno, California to Francis McCulley. Kathy later moved to Oklahoma and attended Seminole State College and later nursing school. She was a Certified Nursing Aide and Assistant. She worked at the nursing home in Maud for several years. Kathy enjoyed reading, gardening and flowers. She loved her dog Molly and always enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Kathy was a very friendly person and always made friends wherever she went. She will truly be missed by all.
Kathy married Richard “Rick” Turner and he preceded her in death in 1986.
Survivors include two children, Rebecca Foreman and husband Scott of Tecumseh and Jonathan Goodell of Seminole; grandchildren, Dillon Dorrough, Dalton Dorrough, Stacy Goodell, Jonathan Goodell, Jr. and Ally Goodell; one great-grandchild, Julius Dorrough and a host of other family and friends.
Kathy was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Spooner; a sister, Maureen McCulley and a brother, Mike McCulley.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Assembly of God in Maud with Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 14 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
