Judy Elaine Strickland

Judy leaves behind three children Carlota (Herrera) Lopez, Jose Victor Herrera Jr., & Jeanette Alexandrea (Herrera) Stevens, Son-in-law Eric Lee Stevens, Daughter-in-law Dacia Herrera, 12 grandchildren & two great-grandchildren, Ex-husband Jose Victor Herrera, and four siblings Joann Cornelius, Brenda Hawkins, Terrie Gunderson, and Roger Strickland.

She was preceded in death by her parents Pearl Raymond Strickland & Rose Marie Wright, brothers Jerry Lee, William "Billy" Ray, & Micheal Allen Strickland, and husband Steve Pelfrey.

Judy was a huge sports fan who loved the Dallas Cowboys and OU Football. She enjoyed filling an ice chest full of ice and Cokes and giving them to strangers around the Oklahoma City area with her sister. They would tell them "Have a Coke and a smile". She would teach English to the Hispanice community who wished to learn English in the local public library. She loved animals and to this, I would assume, she would say to all of us "Have a Coke and Smile".
