Joyce K (Kroutil) Jones

Joyce K Jones, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord June 6th, 2021, at the age of 91.

She was born October 15, 1929, and was the daughter of Frank and Ida Kroutil. She grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Education. She was listed in the Who’s who of American Women in 1972. She started teaching home economics after graduating college. In 1968, she started working as an Oklahoma State Extension Agent for Woods County in Oklahoma. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards with her Sorority sisters, and helping with Meals on Wheels.

She is survived by her sons Odis Jones (Oklahoma City) and Gerald Philip Jones (Luther), grandchildren Chris, Michael, and Austin Jones, and Kesha Wilson, great-grandchildren, Destiny, Autumn, Kallie, Cody, Cayden, Reese, Micah, and Niaomi.

She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Ida Kroutil.
