Jose Jesus Serrano

Jose took the journey to his new life on January 16, 2018. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family.
In life, he was a son, brother, husband, and most importantly, father and grandfather.
Jose was born in Acambaro, Guanajuato, Mexico on January 25th, 1956 to Antonio Serrano and María del Socorro Lopez. He is the second of eight siblings. He married his childhood sweetheart Raquel Guerrero on December 5, 1975. Together they welcomed two daughters, Belinda and Sylvia.
In life, Jose enjoyed fishing and watching football. He was a big fan of his OU Sooners. He worked as a welder with Caterpillar where he enjoyed working alongside his brother, Miguel and his workmates for over 40 years.
He was loved by many and adored by his family. Those who knew him, knew he was a very hardworking, honest man and was always to be counted on.
He was preceded by his father, Antonio Serrano. He is survived by his wife, Raquel Serrano, his daughter Belinda Gamboa and her husband Aurelio Gamboa and their children, Marina, Marisa, Aurelio and Elisa; his daughter Sylvia Serrano and her husband Jose Bernabe and their children, Lorenzo, Angelica and Mariana Belen. He also leaves behind his mother María del Socorro Serrano Lopez, sisters Dora Serrano, Margarita Pulido, María del Rosario Cifuentes, and Antonia Ramirez; brothers Miguel Ángel Serrano Sr., José Francisco Serrano, and Jorge Alberto Serrano along with several cousins and their beloved families as well.
