Joetta "Jo" Pierce

After 11 long years of living with early-onset dementia, Jo is finally celebrating freedom. This woman who loved God, fishing, gardening, reading, friends, family, animals, and life in general, courageously fought the good fight.  Jo is survived by her life partner, Edwina Swinney; niece, Aimee Pierce; many cousins and dear friends.  There are no services planned at this time.  In lieu of flowers, buy someone a flower or dinner, buy a bag of pet food for your local animal shelter, go visit the lonely; in other words, engage in a random act of kindness. To all of those who work at Gran Gran’s Place, thank you for your selfless dedication to those who need you.
