Joe Douglas McBroom passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in Pottawatomie County at the age of 45.
He was born October 23, 1970 in Wynnewood, OK to Jonell (Newell). Joe graduated from Wynnewood High School.
He was a highly regarded oilfield electrician and was often turned to for advice on repairing equipment. Joe could fix or repair almost anything.
Joe is survived by his wife, Marita Hyatt of the home; his mother, Jonell McClish of Oologah, OK; father, Rick Ellett; daughters, Jessica Benavides of Pauls Valley, OK, Taylor McBroom of Clinton, Amanda Clark of Yukon and Morgan Gray of Clinton; sister, Dina Krapff of Oologah, OK; step sisters, Charlotte Lantrip and Tammy Johnson both of Ardmore, OK; brother, David McClish of Oologah, OK; step brother, Buster McClish of Enid, OK; two grandchildren, Myah and Marcus Benavides; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.
