Hastan Perry Blackshere

Hastan Blackshere was born on November 28, 1944 in Amarillo, Texas to Hastan and Aeline Blackshere.

Hastan was preceeded in death by his parents R.A. and Aeline Rogers, sister Madron Lee, and his son Korean Ward.

He attended Carver High School, where he participated in football and graduated in 1963. He then entered the U.S. Air Force after leaving the service, he returned to civilian life. Hastan married his forever life partner Katie Blackshere and built a family together.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Katie Blackshere, his sons Darius, DeMarcus, Perry, Darnell Blackshere, & Rodney Woody. His daughter Tammie Walker, Della Rogers (sister), Grandchildren: Janese, Novtayejah, Desmond, Akaxia, Darius Jr. Blackshere, Vanessa, Maikel, Shyra Monroe, Kaylen Roberts, Neighvjah, Darnell Harmon, Stormy, Phurius Beasle, Lele Fields. Nephews: Dawit, Dedric Rogers and host of great-grandchildren, extended family and friends.
