Freddy Martin Flynt Jr, 58 years old, passed away Monday, March 28 at his residence in Del City. He was born August 11, 1957 on Tinker AFB to Freddy and Velma Sue (Scott) Flynt. Freddy graduated from Del City High School in 1975.
Freddy worked as a forklift driver at General Motors and retired in 1991. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping. When Freddy wasn’t outdoors, he enjoyed spending time with wife, kids and grandchildren.
Freddy is survived by his loving wife of 41 years Pamela, of the home; his loving mother, Velma Sue Flynt; devoted children, son, John Flynt and his wife Anna of Moore, daughter, Melissa Mortimer and husband Cory of Midwest City and son, Nick Flynt and wife Katie of Harrah; grandchildren, Kaely and Kamryn Flynt, Riley, Jackson and Chloe and Lawson Mortimer and Colton and Addyson Flynt; sister, Cheryl Grimm and husband Charlie, sister, Cindy Chapman and husband David, sister, Dee Sneed and husband Lendell and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Freddy Flynt, Sr.; brother, Richard Lee Flynt, and sister, Pamela Sue Owen.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, April 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Eastwood Baptist Church with Brother Jeremy Smith officiating. A reception will follow the services at the church.
Services are under the direction of OK Cremation and Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
