Ethel "Lenora" (Gunn) Chambers was born December 26th, 1954 to the late Cecelia Hope Gunn and Prebble Wiley Gunn.
She went into her eternal home on Sunday, March 26th, 2023 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her loved ones surrounding her until her final breath.
She grew up in Oklahoma and had a humble life with her parents and siblings. Lenora obtained her nursing degree and went on to have a successful nursing career for over 30 years. She was a wonderful caretaker to patients and her family alike. She enjoyed cooking out, spending time with family, fishing, and racing cars with her late husband John "Butch" Wesley Chambers Jr. She loved trying out new food at different restaurants. She also loved true crime shows including adventures with purpose being one of her favorites. She was a loving mother to 6 kids and grandmother to many. One of her favorite pastimes was watching YouTube with her grandsons, Mason and Levi. She was able to spend some of her life living with her daughter Kristal in Louisiana taking in the culture and she truly enjoyed it there. Lenora had a beloved Yorkie named Derrick for over 10 years. He was her companion and had even saved her from two house fires by waking her up. Derrick passed away in 2022 and we know they are together again.
She is survived by her son Michael Bramlett and his two sons Evan Beck and Ryan Bramlett. Lenora was a great-grandmother to Evan's two children, Aria and Lincoln Beck. Her son Jesse Bramlett and his three daughters Kylee, Makenzie, and Bailey Bramlett. Her daughter Rebecca Bramlett, daughter in law Kasie and their two daughters Kaleah and Tayja. Her son Ronnie Chambers and his daughter Lexie Chambers and his son Cash Chambers. Her son Jimmy Chambers and his children Haylee and Taylor Chambers. Her daughter Kristal Chambers and her two sons Mason and Levi Lyons and son in law Marcus Melancon. Her sister Penny Gunn Goodman and sister-in-law, Sandra Gunn of the late Tony Gunn.
Lenora's family will miss her forever but there is peace knowing she is no longer in pain and is rejoicing with her loved ones she has missed for so long.
1 Corinthians 13:4-9
Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude; it does not insist on it's own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing rejoices with truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends.
