Delores “Dee” Wiley was born on June 20th, 1928, in Arcadia, Oklahoma and was the oldest of 6 children. She was born to David and Greer Wiley who were from the Tyler/Marshall, Texas area. Dee was a devout member of the Jehovah Witness for more than 50 years. She attended school in Coyle and Arcadia, Oklahoma. She married Mack McGrew Sr., and moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Throughout her life she mainly worked in fashion, securing jobs at Sears Department Store and Lerner’s Shop as well as at the John A. Brown Department Store. One of Dee’s greatest accomplishments was when she graduated from Draughon Business College. She also helped Haywood Hill build his carpet business in Oklahoma City. Dee then moved to Stockton, California. After three years she moved back to Oklahoma City and became more active in the Jehovah Witnesses as a field service representative. When she became ill, she lived out the remainder of her life at Harrah Nursing Center in Harrah, Oklahoma.
Dee is preceded in death by her sons Mack McGrew, Jr. & Greggory Wiley, siblings Johnny, William, Katherine, and David Wiley, Jr.
She leaves behind those to cherish her memory including son, Herman L. Wiley, sisters JoAnn Wiley & Janie Wiley all of Oklahoma City and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
