Curtis Delano Rich, age 83, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on April 29th, 2023.
On May 26th, 1939, he was born in Wichita, Kansas, to his parents Euel Robert Murdock and Margaret Estella Maltbie. He was later adopted at the age of 9 and raised by Elmer Rich and June Glaze.
During the 1960s, he received schooling with IBM and began a career as a computer programmer. Working throughout Kansas, Texas, and Oklahoma until he retired from Langston University in Langston, Oklahoma.
Boating, water sports, snow skiing, traveling, listening to music, and dancing (even on rollerskates) brought him great happiness. But most of all, he loved spending time with his friends, family, and daughters, who he called his "little dollies."
Curt was known for being a kind-hearted, quiet man. He was an active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses. His faith and relationship with Jehovah were essential to him and a priority throughout his life.
In addition to his wife, Carol Burden, he is preceded in death by his parents, his son Curtis Wayne Rich, a brother Robert Rich, and half-brother Ricky Bell.
He is survived by his daughters Debra Mitchell, Tracy Przybyl, and Angie Lemon. Half sisters Elaine Kiger, Virginia Kiger, and Lisa Donley. And many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
