In memory of Curtis Leslie Anderson
Curtis Leslie Anderson was born on November 28, 1956 in Oklahoma City to Dee Anderson and Bette L. Sherrill Garrett. On Tuesday, February 16, 2016, he left all pain behind to a new home in glory!
Curtis attended grade school at Stand Watie Elementary School, Putnam City Junior High and graduated from Putnam City High in 1975.
Curtis enjoyed fishing and camping in Oklahoma and Colorado. He also enjoyed photographing nature and was a gifted self-taught artist. He enjoyed playing his guitar and listening to 70’s & 80’s music.
He was a special help to his mother during her last years and also loved to cook. We believe he is celebrating with his mother today as well as other family members gone on before him.
Curtis is survived by brother, Dennis & DeLisa Anderson of McLoud, OK; sister, Debra & Don Jacobs of Duncanville, TX; step-brother, Larry & Martha Garrett of Gracemont, OK; aunt, Doris Poole of Norman, OK; uncle, Lonis & Reva Anderson of Oildale, CA; six first cousins; 13 nieces & nephews; 20 grand-nieces & nephews and many more cousins & family who loved him dearly. Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Dee, mother, Bette, step-father, Clifford and maternal & paternal grandparents.
We will miss his humor, laughter and his great love of storytelling.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Gideon Bible Society.
