Clay Makee Morris, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City at the age of 42.

Clay was born November 20, 1981 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Clarence Allison and Carol Morris. He graduated from Putnam City Original High School in 2001. Clay lived in the Chicago area for some time to be close to his father’s side of the family. He later moved back to Oklahoma City. He met his soon-to-be wife Nicole Turner in July 2019, and they were married in December 2019.

Clay loved his sports. He was an avid Baltimore Ravens football fan as well as a fan of his favorite NBA team, the Boston Celtics. Nicole was able to share with Clay before he passed away that his Boston Celtics won the NBA 2024 Championship. Clay also enjoyed listening to all genres of music. From KISS to Shania Twain, he loved them all.

Those left to cherish Clay’s memory are his mother, Carol of Oklahoma City; his wife, Nicole of the home; brother, Leland of Oklahoma City; several aunts on both sides of his family including, Kay, Lisa, Lori, Patrice, Linda, Katt, Marsha and Doris; uncle, Daniel Allison Jr., nephews, Deonte and Sheldon; nieces, Sidney and Lania as well as a host of other family and friends.

Preceding Clay in death are his father, Clarence; sister, Michelle; brother, Carlos and granddad, Daniel Allison, Sr.
