Clarence Washington, 62, passed away Saturday, April 10. 2021. Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1958 to George and Lettishia Davis, he joined a large and loving group of 8 siblings. From the beginning, Clarence was a hard worker and did what he could do to provide and take care of his siblings.
He loved working with his hands. Anything that was broke or needed repair, he knew how to put it back together. Clarence was a simple, low-key guy but loved boxing, Sci-fi movies, horror films, grilling and jazz music. He met the love of his life, Tracy, over 20 years ago and recently celebrated their 5th year wedding anniversary. Clarence was surrounded by love and was respected by many. The main source of his joy was his children. From Keon, Toccara, Xavier, Bianca, Semaj and Conrad, he knew there was never missing a moment of their affection. Recently becoming a great grandfather, his grandchildren will miss the love and treats from their 'pawpaw'. But they are blessed with his memories.
Clarence is survived by his spouse, Tracy. Children-Keon, Toccara, Xavier, Bianca, Semaj and Conrad. 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Carol, Marvin. Ali, Mary and Jerome are his surviving siblings. Lastly, he also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that adored him.
Clarence was preceeded in death by George and Lettishia Davis, siblings Harold, Patrick “Papa”, and Vallia “Chuggy” and grandchildren- Keontae and Aria.
Clarence wants to be remembered by this 'don't cry for me'. He knew what his purpose in this life was and that was to help others. Upon his death, we can all say-his mission is complete.
