Charles Rogers was born on November 15, 1950 to the late Perry Rogers and Alberta Anderson in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Charles attended Oklahoma City Public schools and obtained his GED. After obtaining his GED, he attended Rose State College to study nursing.

He lived his life on his won terms for the most part and later in life. He practiced a spiritual life with his wife Wanda Rogers, daughter Brittany Rogers, son Charles Ray Rogers, Jr., and his grandchildren Charles Ray Rogers, III, Zion Rogers, and Schilla Rogers.

Charles perished as a result of a sudden illness and transitioned at St. Anthony's Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma on February 25th, 2025.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Charzetta Boyd Johnson, granddaughter Shaylon Boyd, sisters; Kathleen Eddington, Lovie Hackett, Gloria McKaufman, Illy Rogers, and brothers Perry Rogers, Jr & Jerry Rogers.

He is survived by his wife Wanda Rogers, daughter Brittany Rogers, son Charles Ray Rogers, Jr., grandchildren Charles Ray Rogers, III, Zion Rogers, & Schilla Rogers, sisters Christine Montgomery, Ginger (Geary) Dillahunty both of Oakland, CA, Alberta (Kermit) Kendricks of Arlington, TX, Madalyn Vontress and Diane (Michael) Tillis both of Oklahoma City, OK, brothers Anthony Vontress and Willis "Jay" (Anita) Vontress both of Oklahoma City, OK and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving In-Laws.
