Chance Logan May, lifelong Seminole County resident, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 in Midland, Texas at the age of 21.
He was born April 19, 1996 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bland Wayne and Robin Leslee (Osborn) May. Chance attended Bowlegs Public Schools and was a graduate of the Class of 2014. He attended Seminole State College. Chance worked at Homeland and later Cash Saver Grocery Store for several years before going to work in the West Texas oilfields.
Chance enjoyed spending time with his buddies dirt-roading, cracking open a cold one and was known for his last minute ideas. His personality was larger than life, his smile was contagious and he always made a grand entrance everywhere he went. His family was most important in his life and he called every day to check on every one. Mutual love was an understatement. He was known to his friends as a guidance counselor to all. They were inseparable as well through the good, bad and ugly. He along with his buddies, Dalton and Cameron, were known as the “three amigos”. Special friend, Carlie Richardson was his running buddy as well.
Chance is survived by his parents, Wayne and Robin May of Seminole; grandparents, Bob and Richenda Northcott of Bowlegs; two sisters, Ashley Humphers and husband Jason and Blayke May, all of Seminole; aunts and uncles, Shona and Gaylan Parsons of Seminole, Stacy and Lisa Northcott of Bowlegs and Ross and Dena Osborn of Choctaw; niece and nephew, Avry and Axton Humphers; several cousins and a host of other family and friends.
Chance was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ross Osborn.
