Carolyn Yvonne Simpson

Carolyn Yvonne Simpson was born on December 11th, 1956, to Frank & Delores Simpson in Seminole, Oklahoma. Carolyn accepted the Lord and Savior into her heart at an early age under RL Harris, Sr. at Nelson Chapel in Earlsboro, Oklahoma.

She attended and graduated from Earlsboro High School, class of ’74. She always has a dream of helping others, so she started her journey at OBU taking legal assistant courses then moved in to Nursing at MetroTech. There she truly found her calling with a purpose and career that spanned over 28 years.

In the spring of 1980, she met and married Lawyer L. Rose, Sr., and to this union two children were born: Crystal & Jack Rose. Carolyn also gained five bonus children: Michael, Bria, Lamont, Fred, and Lawyer Rose, Jr and Godson Leonard Brian.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Teresa & Linzetta Simpson and brother Donald Ray Simpson.

She leaves behind children, seven grandchildren, sisters Rhonda, Drucilla & Patty Simpson, brothers Larry (Terrie), Frank Sr., Christopher, Nathaniel, Roger, & Stanley Simpson, and a whole host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family members.
