Benjamin Files Jameson, Sr.
March 21, 1934 — November 13, 2015
MSgt Benjamin F. Jameson, Sr., loving husband, father and grandfather, died Nov. 13, 2015 at his residence at the age of 81.
He was born Mar. 21, 1934 in Brewer, Maine to Francis Joseph and Benita Josephine (Files) Jameson. Benjamin enlisted in the US Air Force and served his country proudly for over 21 years. He retired from the USAF on April 30, 1973. After retirement, Benjamin worked in civil service for over 18 years.
He married Marlene (Wulf) on May 9, 1956 in Bremerhaven, Germany. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hampton, VA and was also member of the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Community on Tinker AFB.
Benjamin is survived by his wife Marlene of the home; two sons, Ronald F. and Benjamin F. Jameson; daughter Debra L Dean and husband Paul; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and two brothers, George Jameson of NY and Michael Jameson of FL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Karen D. Jameson on Feb. 1, 2015.
Service are to be held at a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
