Barbara Janelle (Sanders) Miller

Barbara “Janelle” (Sanders) Miller, longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed away Friday, December 31, 2021 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital South at the age of 86.

Janelle was born February 24, 1935 in Colony, Oklahoma to L.C. and Vera Sanders. She was raised in western Oklahoma. Janelle married Richard L. Miller and he preceded her in death in 2000. She loved going to the lake, gardening and tending to her flowers and always had an immaculate yard.

Survivors include her two sons, Richard “Rick” L. Miller, Jr. and Karl Wayne Miller; two grandchildren, Karl Wayne, Jr., and Amanda; one great-granddaughter, Makayla; one brother, Bud Sanders; two sisters, Geraldine Nation and Kay Pivrnec and a host of other family and friends.

Janelle was also preceded in death by her parents, L.C. and Vera Sanders; one brother, Don Sanders and two sisters, Nelda Lewis and Shirley Jones.
