Anne Elizabeth Colson Schwerdtfeger passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the age of 36. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 27, 1987, to Craig David Colson and Melinda Jo Bode Colson.
Anne lived in Farmington, Missouri, for the first 6 years of her life, and in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the remaining 30 years. She graduated from Putnam City Schools in May of 2006. She continued her education at Francis Tuttle Technology Center and at OSU-OKC, where she earned an associate degree in business.
She married Christopher Schwerdtfeger of Oklahoma City, and they welcomed a son, Porter Edward Schwerdtfeger in June of 2017.
At the time of her death, Anne was a member of the Management Team at TerraScapes Total Landscape Service in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where she had been employed for 10 years. She was dedicated to the company, but mostly, she cherished her TerraScapes family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Craig David Colson, her paternal grandfather, David Lee Colson, of Farmington, Missouri; and maternal grandparents, Edward Joseph Bode and Peggy Ann McFadden Bode of Okeene, Oklahoma, and Aunt Cynthia Ann White of Guthrie, Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Christopher Schwerdtfeger; son, Porter Edward Schwerdtfeger; Mother, Melinda Jo Bode Colson; sister, Rachel Lynn Colson; all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Paternal Grandmother, Norma Lee Colson of Farmington, Missouri; in-laws, Mike and Judie Schwerdtfeger Wade of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; many aunts and uncles and a multitude of cousins on both sides of the families; and her Big Sister and close friend, Rachel Silver of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
