Susan Mae (Smith) Creasey

Susan Mae Creasey, 73, of Edmond, OK passed away on May 25, 2020.

She was born to parents Andrew and Phyllis Smith on June 5, 1946 in San Diego, CA.  She grew up on a horse ranch and acquired a lifelong love for all animals.  Not long after graduating high school in San Diego, Susan met and married her husband Kelly Creasey in 1964.  Shortly after their wedding, Kelly and Susan moved to Kelly’s home state of Oklahoma and raised a family of two boys.  Kelly and Susan  remained married until he passed away on April 28, 2006.  Susan worked for the Oklahoma City Public School System cafeteria program.  She enjoyed this very much and retired after 27 years of service.  She was committed to supporting her family’s endeavors which including her husband’s passion for racing.  Susan was an Oklahoma City Thunder fan and did not like to miss a game.  Susan had her own way about her and lived life the way she wanted.  She was kind to all she met.  She did not like to speak poorly of others and always seemed to find the good in all.  She will be remembered for being a faithful and reliable friend.  Susan is survived by her brother Andy Smith of San Diego, her son Wiley and his wife Tammy of West Virginia, her son Travis and his wife MJ, of Oklahoma City and four grandchildren, Anthony Creasey, Justin Creasey, Emma Creasey, and Clayton Creasey. She was preceded in death by her father Andrew Smith, mother Phyllis Smith and husband Kelly Creasey.
